When I was 16 I met Phish bassist/one of my idols Mike Gordon in the AOL chat room The Phish Bowl, where I spent most of my time in the mid/late 90s. Later that year I met him in person at The Clifford Ball, Phish’s first weekend long festival in upstate New York. Turns out the whole thing is captured in the documentary that comes with the Clifford Ball box set. That’s me at 17, breathlessly introducing myself to Mike Gordon by my screen name, “DVDSky420.”
It was one of the best moments of my life.
[Sorry I recorded this off my TV, but I is dumb.]
